They like Journey to the West and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they enjoy videogame Shogun and Civilization, where they go with the flow with character called Shogun Tokugawa. We are talking about angry young men from Pilsen, whose debut Y3ARS can be described by the words of one fan as "most anticipated album of the fuckin 'century'.
First album of the screamo / emo rockers Shogun Tokugawa is full of contrasts, aggressive riffs and electronic discharges. "We just try to make our music naturally, truly, fully but on the other hand don’t take ourselves too seriously," says guitar player Martin.
In the beginning they were influenced mainly by Deftones, but they are even closer to Norma Jean with their fury and energy, Fall of Troy with their rythms and riffs or Gallows with their straightforward aggression and they are more and more open to bigger electronic experiments, so we can hear influences of the bands like Enter Shikari or Hadouken!
